No, I have not started to build an ark

Flooding along my neighborhood run.

The rain the past few days has been heavy but the rain in the last 15 hours has been crazy. According to our rain gage we received close to 7 inches of rain and areas just a few miles south of us have gotten 11 inches. We have had tornado watches and severe thunder storm watches. The stop lights are out and the local Wal-mart is in the dark. Cypress Creek is out of its banks and there is more flooding all around our house. School has been cancelled and I did not make it to work this morning.

It is all good. I have seen worse. The rainbow will appear.

Later Gators,

Liz

Wow, that some crazy weather you're having. We're getting rain but not that much.

Our entrance was flooded, but only temporarily. Fortunately it was passable when I drove home. Unfortunately it was passable when I drove to work.

Sounds like it was worse in Htown than in Austin! As much as we needed rain, I'm ready for the sun again!!! Hope your back is mending!

Coach, you probably don't remember me but I went to Disney a long time ago with TNT and I occasionally make it to your noon classes at bunker hill. Anyway, I wanted to ask if you were still doing personal training or just the classes. I got a goal for the next 3 weeks and a trip to Hawaii I want to get ready for :) I would have mentioned it in class except I'm being worked too hard to skip out at lunch! Also, I noticed you had problems with your polar. My husband uploads my stuff so I know he knows how to do that. Still need help?

Hey Evelyn,

I tried to send you an email, but I could not find one on your blog. Yes I do some personal training. I am not at the gym today because I have lost my voice. And yes, I still need help downloading my data off my Polar. My big problem right now is that I have a Mac and the Polar software is Windows. My battery is low and I want to download the data before I have to send it off and get a new battery and loose all the memory. I don't know, can that happen?

It is good to see you in class when you make it to the gym!

Hi coach, my email is zapataevelyn@gmail.com. I talked to my husband about your Polar. He says it is VERY possible you will lose everything once the battery dies. That used to happen with my old Palm. He said that depending on what Mac you have, Windows could be installed on that machine and then you can load the Polar software. Do you want me to put you in touch with him? You can email me and we can see how we can help. Evelyn
